Len Boulton is an Old Boy of St Joseph’s College, Gregory Terrace, and was awarded a Health Department Fellowship in Dentistry at University of Queensland. After graduation, he worked for Queensland Health for three years in the School Dental Service, and then three years as Dentist-in-Charge at Bundaberg Dental Clinic.

Dr Boulton commenced practice at 211 Stafford Road Stafford in 1965, and practiced there until

the end of 2012, holding part-time teaching positions at UQ School of Dentistry in both Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics. He was also a part-time Senior Operative Dentist at the Brisbane Dental Hospital.

He has held positions as Clinical Tutor at James Cook University Dental School Cairns in 2013, and at Griffith University Dental Clinic, Warwick in 2014, and is now an Associate Dentist at Tweed Coast Dental Centre.

In his many years of clinical practice, his over-riding aim has been to remove fear from all aspects of dentistry and he still derives as much pleasure from even the simplest procedure, as when he first started practice.

His hobby is music, and his most treasured possession is a fully restored Steinway Living Room Grand Piano manufactured in Hamburg in 1927.
